SANFL

Developed SANFL High Performance Centre - Tenant RFT

The SANFL engaged SAPA to develop a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) for its new High-Performance Centre at West Lakes, for the purpose of inviting and assessing proposals from suitable organisations to occupy space within the facility.

SAPA was responsible for the end-to-end design, structure, and drafting of the RFP, which included:

  • Converting detailed planning, access, and facility specifications into a clear and professional market-facing document.
  • Developing the full RFP structure, including disclaimer, evaluation criteria, submission process, probity requirements, confidentiality, and terms and conditions.
  • Creating annexures with room specifications, access limitations, finishes, and equipment layouts.
  • Embedding governance and transparency measures to ensure all proposals could be assessed fairly and consistently.
  • Modelling the document on leading national facility RFPs to give SANFL and its partners confidence in the strength and professionalism of the process.

SAPA produced a professional RFP that provided the SANFL a robust framework to evaluate potential tenants with clear criteria and transparent processes, while ensuring the best possible commercial outcome for the league. The document positioned the High Performance Centre to attract aligned, high-quality tenants and demonstrated best practice governance and probity in facility development.
