SAPA has had the privilege to negotiate several transfer deals and player terminations across 2023-24, including some major transfers to the English Premier League and Bundesliga clubs.
SAPA first advised Adelaide United Football Club on the transfer of Nestory Irankunda to European football giants FC Bayern München in November 2023, a record fee for the club at the time. Irankunda was 17 years old at the time of the deal and is already the most prolific under 20 scorer in the A-League history and is the most exciting prospect in Australian football.
This move marked one of the biggest transfers in A-League history at the time and arguably the most significant given the size of the deal, the player involved, and the destination club being one of the most famous in the world.
However, the deals only got bigger across the transfer window at the start of 2024, a successful window for not only the club, but Australian football in general. SAPA again supported Adelaide United in securing transfers for Joe Gauci to Aston Villa Football Club, Steven Hall to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and Alexandar Popovic to K League 1 side Gangwon FC.
